Enrolling 28 children per day, their team of qualified and committed staff is passionate about early childhood education and delivers a program that trusts in the power of play and recognises the endless possibilities in constructing processes for teaching and learning within that framework.

gpic3   gpic4

The indoor environment is welcoming and reflects an extension of the children's homes and is designed with interesting and engaging learning spaces for children to explore and learn in. Outside, there is a natural play space that beckons the children to connect with it through the vegetable and herb garden, fruit plantings, dry creek bed, sand pit and worm farm. Education in relation to environmental sustainability and respect for our world is fostered throughout the Service's operations.

Delicious and nutritious meals are provided for children each day. The menu is planned in conjunction with the National Dietary Guidelines for Long Day Care Centres and reflects cultures from the children and family within the Service as well as the wider community.

Opening hours are 7.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. The cost of care is $61.00 per day. Families can claim their Child Care Benefit which can be deducted from their fees or they can choose to pay the full fee and claim a lump sum at the end of the financial year.

Kids and Poisons

In New South Wales, every year thousands of children need medical care for poisoning from products commonly found in and around the home. Most accidental poisonings occur to children younger than five, with children aged one to three at greatest risk.

Why are children more likely to be poisoned?

Young children are exploring their world and will put anything in their mouths. They also like to imitate what others do, including taking medications.

What can be poisonous to your child?

Medicines, cleaning, laundry, gardening and car products, insecticides, perfumes, paint, plants, insects and many others.

How can you prevent a poisoning?
  • Store medicines and chemicals out of sight and reach of children, at least 1.5 metres off the ground and in a locked child resistant container.
  • Use medicines and chemicals safely. Follow given instructions and return them to safe storage immediately after use.
  • Buy products in child resistant containers and use child resistant locks on cupboards or cabinets that store poisons. You can buy these at many hardware stores.
  • Ensure all products are stored in original containers and are clearly labelled. Regularly dispose of unwanted and out of date medicines by taking them to your nearest pharmacy for safe disposal.
  • Don't call medicines 'lollies'.
  • Check that the plants in your garden are not poisonous
For more information on the prevention of poisoning, call Kids Health, The Children's Hospital at Westmead on (02) 9845 3585.

Little Einstein's Early Learning Centre Ingleburn has been awarded Outstanding Centre - Our children have nominated our centre as one that makes them happy. This award was part of Child Care Week 2010 and we were awarded a $2000 voucher from Modern Teaching Aid. We attended the Child Care Week 2010 Gala Dinner held on Saturday 22nd May and were presented with the award by Tim from Hi-5.

One comment that the judges found to be outstanding was "I am happy at my childcare centre because I get pancakes, do drawing, play with my friends, help my teacher doing painting and also get dirty doing gardening". We are looking forward to purchasing some fantastic equipment and continuing to make all our children happy.

All of our Little Einstein's Centres in the Campbelltown region are finalists in the Campbelltown Local Business Awards. Little Einstein's St Helens Park, Little Einstein's Campbelltown, Little Einstein's Leumeah, Little Einstein's Leumeah 2 and Little Einstein's Ingleburn.
